dl337j00's Full Review: Hewlett Packard iPAQ h4155 Pocket PC
I originally owned a Palm m100, then an M505, then an IPAQ 1945. now i sold my 1945 to buy this 4155. There is so much you can do with this thing, its not even funny. everything from DIVX to Linux. At first i thought that 64mb would be enough. a few days later i bought a 512mb sd card. i dont know what everyone is complaining about, there is no yellow tint! if you turn is almost sideways you can see the glow of the back light, thats it! the wireless feature is amazingly easy and capable at the same time. about 4 seconds after i first powered it up it found my 802.11b network. i was in the basement and my router is on the top floor of my house! my dlink PCI card cant even reach that far. not much to say about the bluetooth, it works as well as any bluetooth device i own. (BTW bluetooth sucks for networking but rules for short range communication). if you are into mobile gaming, try Age of Empires, i cant beleive that they ported this game exactly as it was on computer! the SNES emulator works ALOT faster than it did on my IPAQ H1945! perfect smoothness. the only thing that i would have changed on this device is to add Compact Flash. i was deciding to get either the H2215 or the H4155, it was a toss-up between compactflash or WIFI... i ultimatly chose WIFI! in my opinion this is a better deal than the IPAQ H5555. two thirds the price and the only draw back is 64mb less storage space! you could buy a 512mb sd card for the differance!
