I got this as a gift to myself this Christmas! I love it! I thought that the directions were going to be very complicated and they are not!
You fill up one compartment with water and a bit of carpet cleaner (one bottle is included) and you are ready to go! There is another holding tank for the dirty water that has been sucked up. If that gets too full, the machine will automatically shut off. The nose has a trigger that you push for the water to come out and then is quickly sucked up. Depending on just how dirty the thing is you are cleaning, you may want to go over it a few times. It also has an inside filter that you need to clean because it can build up with lint.
So far I have done both of the cars, the couch, love seat and my kids car seats! I am a maniac...stop me before I do my husbands ties! (Just kidding.) It is so amazing to see the dirt that builds up over the years! (Especially in the couch!) It is actually sort of fun to use!
