Pros: Ability to clean king size comforters and Evenheat minimizes dampness
Cons: Somewhat noisy. Wrinkle Guard gimmicky. Not reliable!
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this dryer to those who have a King size bed. If you have a Queen size bed or are energy conscious, look for a cheaper alternative.

| mrobbeloth's Full Review: Kenmore 63952 / 63954 / 63956 Electric Dryer |
This Kenmore 63952 has served me and my wife well in the two months that we have owned it. It does its job and does not get in the way. I almost always use the Evenheat feature when drying my clothes, which uses two sensors to determine the drying time based upon the amount of moisture detected. It works pretty well even with a full load of towels. It seems to have a little bit of difficutly when drying comforters, but I just switch it over to use a timed dry or put it back into the normal dry range and try again (this usually does it). The Wrinkle Guard works well if you remove the load in a timely manner. It does not work well if you let the load sit overnight :-). The unit can be a little bit noisy when sitting next door in the rec room, but I don't notice in the master bedroom with the door shut. The lint trap is located in the front of the unit. It is easy to clean out the middle section, but lint clings to the edges.
Update 11/13/04
Well, the dryer broke after only after 18 months (gee, I wonder why the warranty is only for 12 months). I am having the same problem the other reviewers gave for this dryer. It starts to dry and then quits after a few minutes.
