This is the best machine ever - I have owned lots of laptops from Toshiba to dell and gateway and none of them compare to the amazing construction and speed of this machine. And the 16 inch screen - well thats in a league of its own. This is a perfect desktop replacement -Sony made one hell of a machine.
The laptop already comes with a CDRW/DVD and a huge 40 GB hard drive and 512MB of RAM. The only thing I can complain about is the 1 hour battery life - THIS IS NOT FOR PEOPLE ON THE GO - the huge screen and fast processor eat battery like anything - But if you want to carry it around once in a while and basically have access to a power outlet at home and at work - this is the best laptop.
