Pros: performance, reliability, turn-by-turn directions, audible prompts, etc. (see review)
Cons: battery life, screen visibility in bright sun, not Mac compatible, no USB cord
The Bottom Line: I recommend this item whole heartedly. The performance is amazing from a small handheld. But do buy large SD card, SD writer, ans mapsend Directroute software.

This product blows me away. One small unit will serve your outdoor adventure needs as well as in-car-navigations needs.
Pros:
A. This device will...
...create turn by turn routes*
...give audible cues at turns and manuevers*
...allow the input of street address as destinations*
...allow user created waypoints
...allow more than one map to be uploaded to SD card**
...allow you to switch between detailed map regions from SD
...do many more features that I haven't the time to list
B. Cost
...I paid only $415 for the GPS unit, Mapsend direct software, vehicle bracket, and external power cord combined from TigerGPS.com (great customer servive on phone order line)
C. Quality
...the unit is well made very nicely designed
...not heavy and yet still rugged feeling
...great accuracy and speed
A. Screen could be easier to view in bright conditions
B. battery life is short (buy external power cable for car use)
C. not much internal memory (buy large SD card to solve)
D. serial cable instead of USB cable (buy adaptor from BestBuy)
E. not Mac compatible
Would be glad to answer questions anyone has about unit. My email is PoohBoys@aol.com
