Pandora's Box from Microsoft is a great collection of puzzles that challenge your mind and test your dexterity and fine motor skills. My co-workers and I set up Pandora's box as a stress reliever and something to do on breaks.
We all found that each puzzle took an average of 15 minutes to complete with some puzzles taking only a minute to one that took us ever two hours to complete as a group.
Each puzzle is based on a specific region of the world. So if the location was Paris France then a puzzle of the Eifle tower may be there. The would be as many as twelve puzzles for each location before you could move onto a new location. Each side of the box has six puzzle sets and then once they are all the necessary puzzles are completed the side is completed then move to the next side.
The type of puzzles that are encountered are numerous. The puzzles range from the simple place the pieces to moving pieces from to place to place to locate the correct position. Each of the two main puzzle types then get a number of different twists on them. Then there is the rotating pieces where you see what the pieces are suppose to look like but they are overlaid other pieces so you have to fill in the shape of the piece you are trying to get. This is quite challenging to say the least. Then as you go up the levels the final puzzle to complete a level has as many as three different types of puzzles in a single puzzle to get to the solution.
The puzzles levels also have challenges where you are given a time frame to complete a puzzle and if you get it in the set time frame the target piece that will show you which puzzle will get you to the next location.
Pandora's Box is a great game and not only that it challenges the mind. This game deserves a five star overall rating.
