| jamaicadude's Full Review: Abit BP6 Motherboard |
The Abit BP6 is one of my better purchases.
I like the BP6 even though I'm only currently running in single CPU mode..
I'm soon switching to dual cpu (SMP) mode, and I know it will bust any other configuration that any of my friends have, bundled with my more or less custom made watercooler the BP6 is not dying right away..
It's fun to set up, even though windows2k was not pleased with the HPT366 onboard IDE66 controller, but after tinkering with it for some weeks I finally got a hold of the newest betas, and let me tell you.. the thing has been up and running ever since.. I'm running a small HL server from it, but still I need stability.. and I get that with the BP6.. it is actually one of the only MOBO's to have it's own website. http://www.bp6.com.. how many mobo's do you know that have that..?
well, back to the videoediting project I was working on... ALSO on the bp6..
