Pros: small, point and shoot, good for night shots.
Cons: Would of course love to have better optical zoom
The Bottom Line: For a decent bargain priced camera, Mustec delivers.

| n4951t's Full Review: Mustek MDC-3500 Digital Camera |
I just received this digital camera, its my fourth, up from 1mp to 2/3 with software.
If you take the time and really study the manual, things most people don't like to do, this little machine will perform for you. It does decent silent digital .avi camcord shorts, and it performs within its price range. I paid 99.00 including the 20.00 rebate from Mustec, if I wanted greater zoom, possible more than point and shoot, I would have spent 300.00. I like this unit because its small, you can carry it easily, and its always handy for a picture at the time you wish you had your camera with you.
The battery issue I read about is not realistic. I have not found any digital camera that does not need rechargeable batteries, or a vendor that gives them and a charger for free. One 4 pack recharger kit and you will always have batteries and 2 extra. Last, as always, you need a card for memory, I bought the 256 as I can use it in other applications, its a fast card, and as the camera can only hold 50 pics with internal memory, its a must. Again, on a 300.00 camera, they throw in a 128 or so card, but not on a 99.00 camera.
