::Design::
The phone base is black and grey with rounded corners. It's very well designed for a base. The handset feels great in my hand and the buttons are simple and easy to use. The LCD screen is large enough to see incoming calls from a distance of about 6 - 8 feet.
The cordless handset is a tiny and light little thing. It has got to be one of the most compact handset I have ever used at approximately 6" x 2" x 1". And the handset charger/base is made so the handset itself charges upright allowing you to see the LCD screen for incoming calls.
::Sound::
The sound quality is as clear as can be on both the base and the cordless handset. The 2.4gHz really makes a difference! I could be out in the middle of the street and the cordless still sounds crystal clear. The clarity only begins to drop out after I walk about two houses down, then say hello to the static.
::Features::
I love love love the speakerphone on the cordless handset. It's so great to be able to talk on a speakerphone anywhere around the phone and not be limited to within a few feet of the base. It's a wonderful feature.
The cordless handset is virtually cordless. All it requires is the ac adapter, no phone lines coming out of this baby.
This phone accommodates up to two lines so it's perfect for those of you who have an in-home business or a child with their own line. There's no running to the next room to answer a ringing phone especially since this phone will allow up to 8 cordless handsets.
This phone also has the typical features like caller id/history, separate mailboxes and phonebook. In addition the cordless handset allows for a headset to be attached. Why you would need one when the speakerphone is more than adequate and minimizes the need for wires is beyond me, but at least you have the option.
::Flaws::
I do not like the spiral cord that is on the base handset. It gets tangled up and it just looks bad. If it wasn't for the "corded" part of the phone, this product would be perfect.
