My mission for Christmas 99 was to find Grandma a new phone. I was told that she wanted a Cordless phone with an answering machine and a speakerphone. As it turns out, there a many phone brands that meet this description. I settled on this Panasonic because of price and features. Also, I switched to a 900 MHz phone in my house about a year ago and it does make a difference. I bought this phone at Staples and am very happy with the combination of multiple features and price. I recommend it.
I recommend that anyone shopping for a new phone look in several different stores. I checked prices at Circuit City, Staples, Best Buy, K-mart, and Radio Shack. They tend to carry similar brands but different price tags. Check it out. I settled on Staples because I got lucky and they were having a sale. But you don't need to settle with luck, you (me too) could let you fingers do the walking. Humm! Good advice - especially around Christmas time. Have a wonderful Holiday Season!!!
