| littlelexy's Full Review: Vtech VT 1920 900 MHz - Cordless Phone |
I have to start by saying, I just love this phone! It's just the best we've ever had. I've still got an old dinosaur AT&T phone from when they first came out with cordless phones, and it still works, even w/o ever changing the battery!! But, alas, we just needed another one! Plus we were sick of running to the den to see who it was on the caller ID (only phone in the house with it!)
Armed with all the Sunday sales circulars, trying for my best price match, I went into the store **. Why is it when you really need something, you can never find it, nor can you get any help?? LOL
I started looking myself. I came upon the electronic section to find a slue of cordless and wireless phones. Wow, which to choose! I knew I wanted a phone with caller ID screen, but the other options didn't really matter one way or another. I began looking, and my 5 yr old was already stating, this is boring Mom, when are we gonna be done here? I found a section of those cool see-through phones, and picked up one, first one didn't have caller ID, so, back that one went. Next one had caller ID, but the only one they had left was the demo. ARGH! So, my daughter hands me a red clear plastic one. Hey, Mommy, I want this one! Well, I look at it...has the caller ID screen, ok, so I look at the price, $69.99, not bad. (plus a $15 rebate! yahoo, gotta love that!) So, we put it in the cart! Viola, high tech, here we come!
We bought the V Tech VT 1920 and it is a 900MHz cordless phone
the clarity is excellent, and I love the hand held caller ID screen!
It comes with these features (among many):
flash button
re-dial
clearing display
mute
ringer mute
hold
page to locate handset
volume control
call waiting ID
tone/pulse option
caller ID screen
speed dial (memory dialing)
and comes with these accessories:
wall mounting bracket
battery pack
belt-clip
ac power adapter
telephone line cord
and headset (ear piece, plugs into phone for hands free talking! Comes in handy while I'm feeding the baby!)
The only thing I dislike about it is, the handset is rather small, it's hard to hold it up with no hands, just using your chin and shoulder! I think that's why I love the headset!
All in all, I think we did great for choosing it because of the color!
** Never did get to price match this phone! No one else had it on sale!
