Pros: Price, ease of use, functions, picture quality, small size.
Cons: Havent had anything I have disliked so far.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good dvd player for a reasonable price.

I bought this dvd player about 1yr6mos ago. I think its great. It plays dvds, has great functions and works flawlessly. The things I really like about this player are the lcd pannel, all the great functions, the ease of use and the price!
The best thing about this dvd player is the price. I paid $70 for it and it does everything I want. But let me explain what I was looking for.
The first thing I wanted in a dvd player was the lcd screen. I dislike players that do not have a screen, they are much less expensive for that reason. I like to be able to look at the lcd and see where the dvd is and use it to dsplay what is happeneing with the player. If you can live with out an lcd than buy a cheaper model. It also has the standard buttons on the front pannel, play, stop, open.
The second thing I liked about this player is that it is made by a reputable company. Pioneer makes good products, so I was happy to purchase something from them.
The remote is great, it has all the function you could need.
The reason I really like this dvd player is because it works for what I need it to do. I watch dvds on it and listen to an occasional music cd. The sound quality is good, it would be better if I had a home theater system, but there is nothing wrong with the dvd player. It has played all of the music cds I have tried in it so far. CD-rs, mp3s, etc. It is also extremely easy to use, the menu and the remote are very simple and anyone could pick it up and use it. The design is nice too, it is small and sleek and looks nice.
Picture quality is great. It looks sharp and crisp I have no complaints about it.
Overall, I think this is a really great, inexpensive dvd player that is made by a reliable company.
