The only thing that keeps this from perfection is MP3 Playback and a line out connector other than that basically perfect. It doesn't skip for nothing I purposely drop it once in my school lunch room and it didn't skip a beat I just picked it up strapped it up and kept stepping. The joystick was what sold me when I bought it in 2002 and It's still in excellent condition. I love the AVLS especially in class or a library it works perfect because you can read, write, and still pay attention to the Instructor while listening to your favorite music It's great. THE BATTERY LIFE IS WOW that all I got to say, 50 hours battery life is unprecedented, My senior year I got "the perfect attendance ,wearing chucks, while surfing the net, and never without a cd player award", and without the great battery life of this fantastic device i would never received this award.

Durability, How Long Will It Last: 10/10 I've had it since 2002 and I'am 6'3 lanky and clumsy, If I keep this cd player running anyone can. IT'S A TANK!
Worth Buying For It's Price: 5/10 It's at a very cheap price now, because Mp3 and minidisc players are still out there so "BUYER" a wise decision.
Features: 8/10 has no cd text or backlight but the joystick is a feature that stands alone.
xkahlade1's bottom line: When all my friends seen this cd player and was amazed by It's design, color, and structure there jaws dropped to the floor, and I felt like a king when they couldn't operate It because it was there first time a joystick was introduced to a Cd Player!
