| jdmidyette's Full Review: Epson Stylus Photo 960 InkJet Printer |
I purchased my 960 last spring just as I started working with digital photography. To date I have used it only for photo work (I still use my Epson Stylus 800 for general printing).
In my experience it has done excellent quality work that, even in the lower print range, is difficult to impossible to tell from photo shop results. I have not used the roll paper at this time; however, plan to experiment with it soon (too be honest it appears more of a trick than a necessity). I have found that when using some paper it is necessary to open the paper setting to a slightly thicker value than I would have expected.
As to ink, I have found that the printer uses it sparingly and that it was readily available through mail order (at a better price) from Nerds.
Thus far my impression is very favorable.
