I have a Technics SA DX940 Reciever paired up with a technics RSTR333 dual cassette deck and A Technics 5 disc carousel cd changer Tecnics SL D2 Direct drive turntable and an ADC 20 band graphic equalizer.Speaker wise i am using all JBL speakers for my surround sound setup.Video wise i am using an RCA 34 inch flat screen HDTV monitor an RCA DVD player and a RCA VHS high Fi VCR.I am very pleased with this setup .The sound quality is very good of course i am getting quite a boost in frequencies with the EQ.The JBL speakers really make a difference also. This reciever really does crank. It shakes the floors and rattles the windows and i am not even using a subwoofer. This unit does all i need it to.I do however wish it had a couple of more DSP functions but i can live without them i guess.Unit does also tend to get a little warm when it is cranked but i think that the cooling fan will help in heat dissapation. All in all i never had a problem with it
