Simply the best i ever had for the price

Pros: Clear crisp sound even when heard very loud, inexpensive.

Cons: Chassi should be more solid

The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a receiver that can deliver a fantastic sound look no further.

I was looking for a very good receiver to replace my year old SONY because i couldn't live with it one more day. I'm a music and movie enthusiastic and this Technics impressed me with its sound. Some other people complain about it running hot after pushed for a while but that's not true at all. It all depends on the type of speakers you hook up to this receiver, it even has a setup utility to set the size, position and impedance of speakers. It is packed with Dobly Digital and DTS to satisfy anyone and on stereo mode it just rock's.
