Pros: Power Galore!
Cons: Will take a huge chunk out of your checkbook/wallet!
The Bottom Line: Perfect for a set of 12's or 10's. I would recommend this baby to anyone who appreciates pure bass that's crisp, clear, and LOUD.

| Jacqlin82's Full Review: Rockford Fosgate Punch 500a Car Amp |
Okay I'm going to skip the technical terms for just a minute here. The RF Punch 500a2 amplifier is top of the line! In fact, if you are purchasing an amplifier, I'd say buy Rockford Punch series no matter what wattage.
I have this amp hooked up to two Cerwin Vega 12's and it hits better than two RF 15's. It's just that good. And even on long road trips, even though I do not suggest listening to your speakers cranked up the whole way, this amp does not overheat and turn off like a lot of other amplifiers.
While it was quite expensive (about $550)it was definitely worth it and I imagine it will be until I'm ready to upgrade.
Okay and for all of you lil' technical term geeks ;) (me included), here is the low-down on this amplifier:
*Channels: 2
*Per Channel Power: 125X4, 250X2, 500X1 (remember, with Rockford, these numbers are actually a little higher, this is just what the minimum is)
*Bridgeable? Yes
*Remote Control: On certain models! Mine has it and I love being able to control the output from the drivers seat!
*Dimensions: 2.40 X 9.80 X 13.35 (inches)
There is a lot more to this amp! If you are interested, check out: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/
