shilface's Full Review: Rockford Fosgate Punch 800a2 Car Amp
Fosgate had the best amps around in the old school days of the early 90's, but I have not been impressed by most of Rockford Fosgate's newer amp styles, but the 800 a2 by Fosgate is a monster. It pumps out around 1000 watts, which is a great deal for the price I got it for. List price is $629 but I got it at my local dealer for around $500. I bought it to push my two 12 inch Fosgate XLC's and they sound awesome. I hooked it up at 2 ohms which is about 450x2 which is plenty of power for my small vehicle. This is a wonderful amp, especially for the price i got it for. However this amp runs a little hot, so i wouldnt recomend bridging it, (you get plenty of power out of it anyways) I highly recomend it.
