Rockford Fosgate's production process allows them to put out more watts per cubic inch out of their amps. All punch amps are built using spaceage Discrete Surface Mount.(DSM). In addition to this awesome feature, the new Punch Power line picks up where the standard Punch series leaves off, giving you more reserve wattage and expanding the range of the built in variable crossover.
The Power 1100a2 is your choice for the ultimate in amplifier performance. With two separate power supplies, one for the low voltage preamp signal stage, and one for the high current side, the Punch Power 1100a2 puts out massive power and great sound quality. This amp has a lot of features like: stereo, bridged mono or tri way output on 2 channel models, 2,3,4 channel or tri way output on 4 channel models, 50-210 HZ high/low pass crossover, 24 dB/octave slope,, 2-4 channel models, preamp outputs, variable punch bass on all models, wired remote, all 2 channel models. I see no drawbacks about this amp except that it's a little large that's all. If you want to put together a high power system with an amplifier, here's one of your top choices.
