chairleg's Full Review: Sebo X4 Bagged Upright Vacuum
This is a first for me - a review. And on a vacuum cleaner, too. Who'd have thought it? But, this machine is truly amazing. I bought my Sebo X4 Extra after spending ages checking reviews on the Internet and the Sebo came up smelling like roses time after time. I was disgruntled with my Dyson which, I swear, just dusted the carpets, so when it broke down - again! - I wanted a change. I have carpets everywhere except for the kitchen and bathrooms and wanted them to look as good as the day they were laid. I needed a vacuum that would leave tracks because it raised the pile. And, oh boy, did the Sebo ever come through trumps. From the first sweep over the dining room, the pile stood up soldier-straight again. I was so impressed that I dashed all over the house. I swear the carpets looked the same as the day they were laid. You know - when you first vacuum over them after the carpetfitter has left and you stand in an unfurnished room and there's the glorious look of brand new, vacuum-tracked carpet stretching everywhere. Well, that's what I wanted and that's what I got. Brilliant. The only carpet that it didn't work so well on was the nylon one in the utility room - serves me right for buying cheap rubbish, but the rest of the house is done in pure wool 80%-20% and they look wonderful. I'm very pleased.
