The X4 isn’t called ‘automatic’ for no reason. It has a computer sensor that feels resistance on the rotating brush. It automatically adjusts to ensure proper agitation. So you do not need to adjust anything, just turn it on and vacuum.
It even adjusts down flat to clean bare-floors like wood and tile. It will pick up a PILE of sand in one pass!
The onboard tools are accessible at waist height, no need to bend over and struggle. The hose extends to 9ft overhead. You can select from 3 onboard tools a long (12inch) crevice tool, a furniture tool, and an adjustable swiveling dusting brush. When you’re finished with the tool hose it tucks very neatly and compactly out of the way.
This vacuum has a permanent belt. You never have to change the belt. I got a towel stuck in the nozzle and the Sebo just shut off. I removed the towel and turned it back on. It worked beautifully.
It also has a full bag or clog indicator, if I do not change the bag and light comes on. If I ignore the light the vacuum will shut off. So its impossible to use the vacuum incorrectly, i.e. broken belt, clog, or full bag, no suction.
Its made in Germany. I have never had a problem, and the Sebo dealer told me in 5 years they have had no repairs. Another Dealer said in 400 units sold not one repair.
Changing the bag is very easy, and the vacuum automatically secures the bag with a gasket when you shut the bag door.
It has S-Class Hepa filtration, its seems totally dust free to me.
Nice color choices, nice look, easy to push, soft furniture guard bumper.
One last feature I really like, you can take out the brush roller and clean it with no tools! You can also access all the suction passages with no tools.
