Pros: Great Wide Screen Mode, Nice Controller, Decent Price, great picture
Cons: Picture from close up, bad view except from eye level, bad menus
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended if you have the correct conditions!

I just got this tv 2 days ago in place of my old sony. This TV is great but I liked my old one alot more. The problems I have encountered with this tv are while viewing it. This TV looks horrible from anywhere 10 feet in front of it. On my old TV which also was a projection I could sit 5 feet away and it still looked terrific. Also when I watch from the side and not almost directly in front the tv has dark spots in some places. I have this same problem if I am not sitting eye level with the tv. I see a dark border around the TV when I stand up or lay down when I try to watch the TV. I also found out when I was trying to correct some of the visual problems that the menus are impossible to use. The buttons on the controller associated with the menu don't make any sense! Ok now to the positives. The TV has a great an amazing picture if you view from the correct areas. The resolution is great and the color is not bad. Also another positive of the TV is its many screen modes. You can put it in wide screen, normal, zoom, full,full zoom, etc. There are so many variations you are sure to find something you like.
