Good Little Printer...

Pros: Great Color, Prints on many stocks

Cons: Duplexer

stp88's Full Review: Xerox DocuColor 12 Printer
We purchased this Printer/Copier around 3/00 to replace the Minolta/Fiery combo that was requiring service once or twice a week. My department is creative services and we use this printer for color proofing and Matchprints. We purchased the Imation Matchprint rip which has a full pantone matching system. The colors are good and pretty stable. This printer has been used to print everything from 8x11 letters to 12x18 9pt coated card stock. Now it has around 250,000 copies on it and maybe 7 service calls. Very reliable.

The only complaint is the duplexer from the factory is set to not auto duplex 12x18. I personally modified the PPD to auto duplex 12x18. The only trick is the paper has to be quite thin around 60# offset for this to work.
