Pros: Too disappointed to think of any pros.
Cons: Overload of repeated shows. Programmers have misplaced channel's potential.
The Bottom Line: Would not recommend this channel - too many repeats, boring

As an ex-pat Brit having lived in the U.S. for 20 years, I was so excited to discover BBCA about two years ago I immediately signed up and paid the extra to watch it. At first, it was the only channel I watched; it brought back memories of home with favourite shows I knew and many I had never seen before. Since earlier this year, however, its programming has seriously deteriorated to the extent I hardly watch it at all any more. The viewer is constantly bombarded with repeats and it has just become plain boring. The final straw was the loss of Eastenders which I used to look forward to each Saturday. The show, amazingly, was replaced with yet more repeats. BBCA has become a huge disappointment and I think now I have been seriously misled in to subscribing to a channel that includes "BBC" in its name. Come to find out, BBCA isn't even owned by the BBC; it's part of the Discovery group in the U.S. It certainly is not a reflection of the real BBC in the U.K. and it's beyond me how the BBC allows this debacle to happen to their good name. I wish we could get BBC Prime in the U.S. instead because I'd sign up for that in a heartbeat.
