Pros: None come to mind
Cons: NOT worth the money and a total waste of time
The Bottom Line: Absolutely not recommended. BBC America claims to showcase the best in British programming. Believe me, it's a far cry from what's available from the "real" BBC. Abyssmal!

| xbbcamerikafan's Full Review: BBC America |
BBC America used to be a great channel until the VP for Programming of E! took the same job at BBC America. Since then, the programming has degenerated to an endless spate of DIY makeovers, garden shows, and low brow comedy. Nothing but repeats, repeats, repeats. We upgraded our cable service in order to be able to watch great Britcoms such as Blackadder, British Men Behaving Badly, Gimme Gimme, Father Ted, et al and of course the long running #1 dramatic show in the UK, Eastenders. The fare on this channel became so bad, that the only thing we watched was Eastenders and when that was finally removed from the lineup, we stopped watching altogether. So at this point, we no longer watch ANY of the Discovery affiliated channels or BBC America and have no intention of ever watching these channels again. In fact, we are now debating whether or not to cancel the digital service since the programs are so ABYSSMAL.
If you like to watch paint dry and grass grow over and over and over again, if you don't have a clue how to dress yourself or if you can't get the gist of a program without watching it 40 times per week, then this is the channel for you!
