Incredibly boring...

I can’t think of a sport any less deserving of an entire channel than golf (except maybe cricket). The programming consists of infomercials, self-help shows, and golf tournaments (in that order). Although, the tournaments they have on the Golf Channel are a joke. The promo (commercial) for an up coming tournament may sound like this:
Up next, the Tampax open from sunny Death Valley, CA (note the lack of the term "live"). Stay tuned as Jacob Ballzowski (or any other golfer you’ve never heard of) coming of his recent 75th place finish at Guam Open, leads a field of 11 hungry pros on this three day tournament.
It’s total garbage golf. It’s like watching you neighbor play with his friends (that is, it's not worthy of TV). Being a firm believer that the only time golf is any fun, is when you’re playing, the Golf Channel is no fun! But if you want to get the latest "hits the ball father than a rail gun, Great-Big Bertha’s fat Mother of a club", and you’re afraid to use the internet (you’re currently on it by the way) look no further than the hours of quality infomercials on the Golf Channel.
I suppose if you are completely obsessed with WATCHING (not necessarily playing) golf, than you may be able to appreciate this channel, otherwise, your better off checking out the PGA on some of the broadcast channels or ESPN.
