Ever wonder what there is do in Australia, Africa or maybe even the Middle East. Want to go to a Dude Ranch someday but want to see what they have to offer before you go. This is what the travel channel is all about.
24 hours a day devoted to nothing but traveling the world. They have interesting shows that show you islands, countries and exotic worlds you might have never known about. They show you the people who live there, the nightlife, what there is to do during the day. It is so much better then looking at pictures on the Internet or reading about it.
The Travel Channel offers so much more then just having to read about a travel destination online or in a book. They have very knowledgeable people showing you and telling you about a particular place to go visit. My favorite is when they have a special on Australia. This is my dream vacation and this channel has showed me things to do there that I cannot wait to do, such as swimming with the dolphins, snorkeling in the coral reef and going on a whale watch.
The channel also tells you about travel deals and how to get the best vacation for your money. Saving money is something we all want to do when choosing a vacation since they usually end up costing so much money.
There are many places I want to see in the world and this channel lets me see them all from my living room and gives me the chance to dream even more about exotic islands and romantic getaways.
However, it is not a channel I watch all the time. I would make my husband go broke if I mentioned all the places I want to visit after seeing them on this show. But the do make watching travel interesting and the shows are never boring and I learn so much about places.
