| dr427's Full Review: Disney Wonder |
Our first cruise was on the Disney Wonder in January 2006. We were so excited to see what the ship and journey had to offer. It surpassed all our expectations. My son's only disappointment was he left his baby sister at home with Grandma. We loved everything from the staff, meals, and all the amazing options on things to do. There was no way we could possibly get bored on this trip. The only issue we found was that 4 nights was simply not enough. We were so thrilled with our experience we booked another cruise on the Disney Magic with some of our friends for a 7 night cruise.
The food is amazing and we were honestly a little reluctant that we had to eat when they told us. It honestly worked out great to help keep a schedule for our son. If someone couldn't wait for dinner there were plenty of free options for food on the upper deck or through room service. My only major complaint would be the cost of drinks if you had them delivered. Even soda or water was very expensive unless you walked or took the elevator to the top deck for the free service.
The ports were amazing and there was plenty to do at each port. You could purchase the excursions prior to sailing or you could decide what you wanted once you arrived. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful if you had questions or concerns about anything while on board.
