My husband and I recently received a 3 night 4 day long awaited "honeymoon" to the Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas.
I was in Paradise Island many years ago as part of a cruise, and could not believe what they have done to the Atlantis!!! It is absolutely magnificent! We stayed in the Royal Towers, overlooking the turquoise blue harbor, also a view of Nassau Island.
Our room was plush, king bed, marble bath, sitting area, small balcony overlooking the harbor. The room was spotless and remained so throughout our stay.
I was awed by the incredible aquariums with over 11 million gallons of water through out the complex. An underwater "ruins" display of the "lost city" of Atlantis. A predator lagoon, ray tanks, shark tanks...
There are 18 restaurants to choose from for dining. From a deli style to upscale fine dining, with buffets and poolside cafes in between.
Nightlife has not been forgotten here, with the magnificent casino in the center of it all. There is even a comedy club, which we visited one evening.
