Overall, I found your review very helpful. You tell us about the interesting history of the Monastery, but also about the train ride there, as well as a little about the people.

Nice first review. Please don't be discouraged by these 'merely' helpful ratings; we all get lower ratings when we first start out here. And destination reviews are particularly difficult to do well. Reading lots of travel and destination reviews, both highly and poorly rated ones, may give you a better sense of what the "standards" are in the travel section.

....I would probably never get to see in my lifetime. This is one of them.
Welcome and congratulations on your first review. It is helpful. I see Jo. gave you a couple of very good suggestions. I would also like to know if there are places to stay nearby and what about restaurants? That would give me more of the information I would need for this to be a VH, very helpful review.

A couple of things..look up tombarnes profile and see if he can add this destination alone so it isn't under Moscow because people will be looking for things to see and do in Moscow rather than this one place. Also I would edit it just to make it a bit clearer. Read some VH reviews to see how people set up their reviews and feel free to e-mail me if you want help. Enjoy the site. jo
