Pros: The music just added that extra touch.
Cons: Not one!
The Bottom Line: Very laid back island. The best place to go if you want to get away from stress and just hang out on the beach or up in the air.

You just have to save your money and take a helicopter ride on the Garden Island. As the ad for Will Squyers Helicopter tours states, "See Kaua'i On A Higher Level".
The first thing you notice is the native Hawaiian pilot doesn't wear shoes and then a surprise he backs the helio out of the space before going up. That was exciting! Even my husband a small plane pilot raised his eye brows.
Don't pay for your tour on the mainland, wait till you arrive. If you don't mind and want to save money sit through a timeshare presentation. By law they are soft sell and they really are. It cost us $175 for two including the taxes.
It was a 1 hour 'quiet' flight. The copter comes with Bose Aviation headsets and oversized windows that held six passenger, four in the back and we were lucky the two of us sat up front next to the pilot. That's how I know about the 'no shoes'. We asked after the flight if the folks in the back could see and they had no problem. The windows are wide panoramic on all sides even in the floor beneath my feet.
Music is played through out the flight that seems to match the views. We had a clear not too sunny day in April 2002.
