| KCFemme's Full Review: Milwaukee |
Where do the international secret agents of the world go to relax when in Milwaukee?? They head straight to the Safe House where they can enjoy a good meal, and drinks with unknown ingredients. Of course, to get in they have to know the secret location, the password, and where the secret entrance is.

The Safe-House - First things First
================================================
There are certain things that I just can't tell you in my review. As someone who has been through the intriguing mystery of this restaurant, I just can't be held responsible for disclosing the address, and the secret passageways in which you must enter and exit the premises. Afterall, that would spoil much of the fun.
To request access to this spy-palace, you can go to their website and you might just be able to find out. It's located at www.safe-house.com. Spend some time there and you will out just how serious they are about making their business perfect for any guests.

The Safe-House - Getting In
================================================
Although I won't tell the secrets I will give you some basic information. The Safe-House is located in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The location is absolutely perfect for hiding an exclusive spy haven. The entrance in not marked very clearly, so passers-by on the street won't just come in unannounced.
Once you are able to find the door, you enter a small room. After a minute you might think that you came into the wrong place, after all, it doesn't look like a place to eat. But the thing is, inside this room there are secrets. You have know how to get beyond it and into the depths of the place. If you have problems, someone will be there to help you out. Of course you may have to prove yourself worthy of entrance, don't be shy about it, do what they say without asking, and you will soon be laughing and enjoying the sights and activities of this pleasant hide-a-way.

The Safe-House - The Food
================================================
The Safe-House offers what I would consider a "normal" menu, with the addition of some interesting "Chef's Specials". French dips, hamburgers and chicken fingers were what our group chose. In addition, we ordered a few appetizers of chips and salsa and a bread/spinach dip. Other than the chips being a little over salted, they were all good.
However, the food is not the main attraction for new-comers to this place. You may be eating and not even realize it. There are so many things to do and/or watch that you mind certainly doesn't focus on the food.

The Safe-House - The Decor
================================================
Fun! Definitely Fun! With posters of the more famous spies and secret agents (i.e. James Bond and Austin Powers) and some that you may not recognize, it's definitely an eyeful. In addition, there are doors, walls, windows, and rooms that have interesting secrets of their own. Watch everything, you just may find something that just isn't right. Then you will find out just how right you were. Because a lot of what you see will be quite deceptive.

The Safe-House - The Drinks
================================================
Large, powerful, and the ingredients are secret. Sure, you can order your regular drink and know exactly what you are getting ... or you can be a bit adventurous and get something different. Each of the specialty drinks come with their own glass that you can take home after your finished.
However, they won't divulge what the ingredients are. So if you don't like something or are allergic, let them know. Otherwise, you can be daring and just order from the menu or you can tell them you normally drink whatever and would they recommend something.
I ordered the "Spy's Demise" and got a very large glass with a fruity drink that certainly packed a punch. Once finished they cleaned the glass and gave me a certificate for living through it.
My husband ordered the "Top Secret" that had his eye's crossing. It came in a rocks glass. My brother-in-law got their version of a Martini. When made they put it in a tube that is similar to the ones at the drive through bank. The martini is shot through the restaurant over everyone's heads in a neon lit container and then returns to the bartender where it is poured into a glass. You get to keep the Martini shaker that was in.

The Safe-House - Recommendation
================================================
This place is definitely for everyone. Our kids had a blast wandering through the restaurant and finding all of the secrets of it. The adults had fun checking out the strange drinks and talking about the old spies that we grew up with. There are some things that are so fun that I just can't divulge them here. It is something that has to be experienced. If I tell, you'll expect it, and it won't be as much fun.
Check out the website, find out where the restaurant is, what the hours are, call for a reservation for your group and head out to the Safe-House soon! And if you do, I really want you to leave me a comment on your own impressions of the place. I truly hope you enjoy this little trip.
P.S. - If you plan on drinking, make sure you choose a designated driver before you go in. The drinks are too potent not to do this.
