I love Breckenridge

Back in 1996 my husband and I took our first ski trip to Colorado. It was actually my first skiing trip ever. We wanted to stay at a place that provided ski in/ski out services. We stayed at the Tyra Condos. This place was so nice! It was nicer than my house! There was a gas fireplace in the living room, a fully stocked kitchen, a washer/dryer that we were able to use, and a large bed in the bedroom.
The best thing of the Tyra condos was the Snowflake lift which was located right across the street from our condo. Being a first time skier, I found it difficult to walk in the ski boots, so having a short distance to walk to the lift was a bonus.
The weather was extremly cold (as least it seemed to me, a person from Louisiana), but it must have been cold for the Coloradians too because we overheard many of them complaining about the weather.
I did find the food in Breckenridge was very tasty! The breakfasts were to die for! If you left breakfast hungry, you must have overslept lol. The Breckenridge Brewery made some of the best chilli I've tasted, and their beer was very tasty too. We had a really good time at the brewery.
I would think that Breckenridge is for both families and singles. We were there in the "off" season, so I can't speak much of the nightlife, but from what I've heard, on the "on" season is really happening!
We also went snow-mobiling and took a sleigh ride to a dinner theatre out in the woods. That was great! All the homemade hot-chocolate you can drink.
