Cons: Poor accommodations; extremely overpriced; poor upward mountain lift capacity; no apres ski at hotel

Didn't you read some of the Epinions reviews here BEFORE heading to Alta??
If so you would have understood why things are as they are and you could have skiied Alta a lot cheaper and a lot more enjoyably.
