Pros: fast dropoff, often in terminal

Cons: cost, existing damage on cars

The Bottom Line: I feel the service was good. But use the website and use ALL the discounts you can to help reduce cost.

I have rented mid-size cars @ O'hare chicago & Kansas City Intl recently. Both rentals went well-but... In KC they tried to rent me a car with existing body damage(pass. side)I refused and was issued another car which took about 4 minutes. I HIGHLY recommend a "once around" and notify your rental company of any existing damage prior to leaving lot. As far as the Hertz experience went,car was clean,shuttles were good,staff ok and returning was a breeze. The return agent printed a receipt and took about 1 minute (no lines).Price quoted on the website is same as I paid. I have tried to save money renting "off-terminal" but time and less hassle make using a "full service" worth it to me.
