Pros: No backache, never a worry, always reliable, easy to put cable through front wheel. Cons: Badly designed main stand. Should have a clock. Hooter not loud enough.
3 times in succession I owned a Red and Black Kymco Top Boy 50cc scooter, from April 2000 until November 2003, for touring all around Israel, and of course riding in the cities as well. A nice solid scooter, very reliable and trustworthy, with solid ...

Pros: saves money on gas, fun to ride, perfect for around town Cons: can’t go long distances, can't fit a lot of people.

Good Strong Bike
by pacdan2000 ,May 22 '05
Pros: Quality engineering, design, manufacture, ;Fast, Fun Cons: More expensive *but you get what you pay for* I would like brighter headlights
I have owned this bike for about 3 weeks and have put about 500 miles on it. The Scooter rides very smoothly (even better with another person!).
Kymco is a manufacturer of parts for Honda and has a very solid reputation for quality, and also for their extensive dealer network ensuring service after the sale.
This is the last of the cobras. Between EPA regulations and cheap knockoffs Kymco has decided not to continue this model in the U.S.
Bottom line... if you would like a rugged powerful scooter and can afford it and can still find one... Go For It!
