Pros: Exterior, Reliability Cons: Interior, Tall Drivers Beware The Bottom Line: The Sentra is worth a look, but it is average at best. Make sure you check out its competitors, before you make a important decision.

Pros: Affordable, comfortable, fun to drive Cons: Accelerates slowly to higher speeds, could use more interior room The Bottom Line: Best car for the money. Attractive, feature rich, and very comfortable.
SHOPPING: When I started shopping for a new car, I was looking for something affordable with decent fuel economy that I could feel comfortable driving. What I really wanted was the Honda Civic, but that was well beyond my budget. So, I had it narrowed ...

Pros: Nice interior, fairly good looking exterior, good with curves, smooth ride, good engine Cons: Slight wind noise at higher speeds, but not too severe. The Bottom Line: This car is one of the best choices for college students to use because of its practibility. It has good gas mileage.
My gf decided that it was time to replace her Grand Am(which was a 1997 model that was falling apart) with a 2006 Special Edition Nissan Sentra. She did have a Sentra before, which I never got to see as it got totaled in a wreck. I have had enough time ...

Pros: Price, gas mileage, 4 door, nice look. Cons: none that I have found yet after 2 years. The Bottom Line: Great price, economical on gas. Reliable ride.
When I bought my first car, I purchased a new 1989 Nissan Sentra. I basically bought this car because all the used cars I looked at were only a couple of thousand dollars less than the Sentra was new and since I did not have anyone to look at a used car ...

Pros: Lots of extras, great rebate $ 2250, and you can buy it at invoice! Cons: Legroom in the rear is not as generous as one would like. The Bottom Line: I've seen Sentras with over 300,000 miles on the odometer that still run, need I say anything more!?!
I purchased a 2006 Nissan Sentra Special Edition 1.8 S for our household help. The bottom line: with the $2,250 rebate, an engine known to last over 200,000 miles, and never needing a timing belt change (it has a timing chain) this car sure beats ...

Pros: GREAT gas mileage, adequate leg room and PRICE PRICE PRICE. Cons: Can't think of one. The Bottom Line: You keep your Hybrid, I'll keep my Sentra!!
I have to tell you, some of the negative feedback I see on these cars is concerning. I don't know if Nissan isn't paying off enough politicians or if Detroit doesn't want the truth out there. First off, I am 6'-4" tall, 210lbs and I fit just fine into ...

Its a keeper

Pros: Very dependable, good price, great stereo, good gas mileage. Cons: That a/c thing.
The 06 is our fourth Sentra. (94, 97, 99). We had an 02 and 04 Kia Spectra after the 99 and that was a mistake financially because of the poor trade in for Kia.
Nissan made a change in 03 to how the defroster shuts off; Once you turn the directional control to defrost it turns on the a/c, that is good. But once on the a/c stays on until the car is shut off unless the outside temperature is below 36 degrees.
But the Sentra is a dependable car with enough power to satisfy the average driver and the Fosgate stereo system is really cool. We are glad that we bought the 06 rather than wait for the 07 because of price and we like the style of the 06.

Pros: Good Mileage Comfort, Reliable. Great stereo with Aux for IPOD Cons: Cramped back seat, Could use more power for passing / more standard equipment.
Overall fit and finish of my car is good. It does have an orange peel look to the paint. I've had damage to my rear bumper from a slight touch of my garage door / the car damages and dings very easily which is dissapointing and expensive to repair.

I have the special edition of this car and I love it. Rockford Fosgate 300W sound system with sub woofer, power windows, power locks, rear defrost, cruise control, great gas mileage, spoiler, 16" Allow Wheels, leather steering wheel cover, 6CD Changer, line in for i-pods, sun glasses holder, rear cup holder, digital LED meter for gas mileage/miles per tank and lets you know how many miles you have left when on E. Seats ar cozy, trunk is fairly large. Engine could be zippier.

Pros: Sporty Style. Fast. Cons: Too small inside. Spends to much gas.
I have to say that the SE-R is a great car! I love that it takes off fast. It has a nice sporty look to it. I like that the seats are black and sporty. What I don't like about this car is that it spends a lot of gas. It is way to small inside, especially in the back.
