Pros: A proven very dependable automobile which appears to most people. Cons: Styling is leans toward the older generation. The Bottom Line: Remember the People's car of Germany? Well the 2006 Toyota Camry is the People's car of the world for the 80's, 90's and the 00's.
Hi, I call myself a Toyota Camry Fleet Owner since I now own 3 of them. I own a 1992 LE which my son drives, a 1996 LE which I usually drive and now a brand new 2006 LE Camry that my wife drives. So far our 06 Camry has about 1200 miles on it. 680 ...

Pros: great customer service, very well equipped Cons: It's the last year before a complete redesign, everyone has one, it seems. The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable, spacious car. It works equally well for single people as well as families
Just want to start out by saying I may be somewhat biased when it comes to a Toyota Camry. There's nothing wrong with this, I just have plenty of experience with them, having owned, or been a driver of five of them. With that being said, I'll ...

Pros: Gas mileage, shocks, features, lots of room, sleek look Cons: It's not exactly cheap The Bottom Line: A wonderful car that I can't say enough, as a regular, non-car loving joe whose owned a few really used cars.
The first car that I have ever really officially owned, was a 1985 Chevy Cavalier. This car had all the makings of that great first car that everyone had either one or two, if not all of these features in their past: ugly color, bad steering, horrible ...

Pros: Exceptional reliability; comfortable, roomy interior; quietness; ride Cons: Lousy V6 engine; Boring driver's car; lack of standard side airbags; interior styling The Bottom Line: If you want a practical and comfortable family car it may be for you. I think Accord and sonata make better choices though.
Number 4, I can't be crazy, can I? This is the number one selling car in America, right. Actually not really. Camry is the number one selling car because of fleet sales. Its these sales to Hertz that boost Camry to number one. Honda does not sell ...

Pros: Comfy and fast Cons: none The Bottom Line: Nice ride.
I test drove this car. It was a great experience! This is not your old Camry of years past. My friend had a 1989 Camry, and it was a snail. It was not comfortable. It lacked good steering, and couldn't take a easy turn. Basically, it was boring, with ...

Pros: Great economical car Cons: None really, the money you save can buy lots of ways to express yourself. The Bottom Line: Buy one, unless you're a millionaire or auto mechanic
Our 2006 Camry has been good to us. It may not be bigger than older models in objective terms, but they've made good use of the space. There's enough leg room and enough head room, and you can always adjust the seat. Only if you have well nourished ...

Pros: Highly reliable with great handling. Fuel efficient, comfortable and great value for money. Cons: Drivers seat not fully adjustable and no cup holders in the back of the car. The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a quality used car, don't look past the 2006 Toyota Camry. For value for money, it's the best used car option available.
I have been a big fan of Toyota for many years, so jumped at the chance to give the 2006 Camry a drive. Initial thoughts:My first thoughts after sitting in the Camry were about how spacious the vehicle is. There is plenty of leg ...

Pros: Very comfortable and refined, dependable, huge trunk, a lot of standard features Cons: So ubiquitous that some think it's boring. The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a nice-looking, dependable, somewhat cushy car at a decent price but don't want to get into luxury land, this is a good bet.
Recently, I got rid of my 2000 Ford Focus (see
my review of it here), and my husband and I bought a brand-new 2006 Toyota Camry LE. After driving it for about 500 miles or so, I feel qualified to ...

Pros: Spacious interior, stylish exterior, excellent fuel efficiency and literally noiseless Cons: nothing so far The Bottom Line: The camry is a great car for people transitioning from being single to starting a family
When it was time to buy a new car, just like everyone else I was going through internet sites and asking literally everyone I knew on which car would be a good choice for me. Since each one of them owned different brands and models they gave me their ...

Pros: the smoothness, the back support, temperature control, 6 CD changer Cons: inability to save seat adjustment, non-hybrid The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car, it is a great ride.
When you are in this car or driving it, it feels smooth - no matter what type of road you are driving on. The gas mileage is not that bad. The XLE comes with 6 Disc CD changer and a cassette deck. The Camry comes with an information deck, which tells you ...

Pros: Works great.
Gas mileage.
Little maintenance required. Cons: n/a The Bottom Line: Toyota is great make if you want quality and satisfaction
I have always bought Toyota's. After my 2001 Toyota Camry was in an accident and totaled (Rear ended) in 2006, I went back to another Camry. I went for a 2006 Camry. So far, so good. I have had it for over 2 years now, and had no problems with it. ...

Pros: Basic vehicle, handles adequately Cons: Poor acceleration The Bottom Line: Disappointed in long term quality of this vehicle. Otherwise, I have always had a high regard for earlier Camry models.
I have owned seven Toyota Camrys since 1996 and have always considered the Camry as one of the more dependable vehicles to drive. I normally drive about 25,000 to 30,000 miles a year. For the past few years, I drove the Nissan Maxima but switched back to ...

Pros: looks nice
Leather seats are comfy Cons: poor gas mileage
Horible dealer service
noisy windows
Moderate ride
Our car is adaquate - nothing more. We paid for the nicer stuff like leather and sun roof, but the gas mileage is 5 MPG short of the documented MPG and the car just is not that nice. We liked the old Camry we had and blew off the Honda becuase of past experience - but this was a mistake. Dealer service has gone down since our last car, the car really does not ride as well as we expected (the ride in my Expedition is nicer than this car), and the 4 cyl that the dealer talked us into really is not as responsive as what we would like (the old car had a 6 cyl, but we were looking for gas mileage...). The fit of the doors and windows is not as tight as I think the Honda was either, but again, we were swayed by past experience.
All in all, look somewhere else because this is not "oh such a feeling..."

Pros: Adequate horse power, high mileage, spacious interior, famous reliability Cons: Less stable when windy
I own basic configuration Toyota Camry with standard upgrades:
Power steering/door locks, air condition.
The body is more elevated compared with Honda Accord and previous generation of Camrys. It gives better view of the road, but makes the car swing under the windy conditions.
The 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine gives about 158 hp, enough for most cases, although noticeably less powerful then 166 hp Accord. When driving through mountains, I often had to move to the slower lane, yielding to the pressure of SUVs and even less powerful lighter cars, like Prius, Corolla, and Jetta.
On the plains though, I don't feel any discomfort. It even jumps forward during the very start. The clear advantage is gas mileage, which is around 30mpg for 80% freeway itinerary.
The trunk is spacious. It has child friendly release lever inside. The basic model has only small size spare tire.
The interior has a lot of storage compartments, extra lights. Windshield-integrated antenna does not give particularly strong reception, but it never gets bent during car wash.
Overall, pros are much more prevailing over cons for me.

Pros: Quite and fast with this V-6 engine. Cons: Worrys me as to repair cost when things seem so cramped under hood.
My very nice mother is getting all her kids into cars with side air bags so this is the one I ended up with. A love everything about this ride. My last car was a 1984 Toyota so this car is coming across as soooo refined !
