Pros: Luxurious interior, elegant exterior, Rugged for all your needs, E85 ready, MP3-player Cons: STEERING WHEEL,redesigned, reduced interior space, Fuel economy could be better. The Bottom Line: The $40,000 Avalanche for 2007 offers all the luxury of the first generation Cadillac-EscaladeEXT, updated style and new innovations in a very attractive package.
GM has definitely stepped its game up for 2007. There is the Denali and the Tahoe which basically offers you the same major features of the 06' Escalade with the addition of a better suspension, a redefined look and interior - and a better ride quality. ...

Pros: Safety. Roomy. Comfort. Performance Cons: Front bumper is too low. Middle front console poor design The Bottom Line: Great family vehicle but great for the single person too. I love this truck-easy to handle.
My last vehicle was a volkswagon beetle folks. So when we bought this last spring to tow our camper, I was a little intimidated by its girth. That did NOT last long at all. My husband drives a 2005 Silverado, and when we parked this baby in the driveway ...

Pros: Too many to list. Cons: A few miniscule interior issues. The Bottom Line: It's a luxury car that can actually haul your luxury toys...for NOT a luxury price.
Okay, well, from the moment I saw the redesign of the Tahoe, I said to myself, "Self, if they redesign the Avalanche half as well as they did the Tahoe, I will buy one." There is was...the first glimpse of it. Beautiful from headlights to tailpipe. ...

Pros: The versatility, comfort, ride, looks, gas mileage, power/performance, fit and finish. Cons: What's to complain about. This thing is awesome. The Bottom Line: I recommend the Avalanche to anyone looking for a truck they can haul in during the day, but yet get dressed up and go for a fancy dinner that night.
The 07 Avalanche is the best truck ever. I have owned my Avalanche for 9 months and 13,500 miles now. Honda advertises a "lockable trunk in the bed"; the Avalanches entire bed is lockable. I can carry a 10' piece of lumber in the truck with the ...

Solid Truck

Pros: Great interior, flexibility, horsepower. Did I mention the great interior? Cons: Plastic front end that sits way too low. Gas mileage.
The 2007 Avalanche is a solid truck. It handles great for doing yard work, moving brush, towing, hauling wood, whatever. Every now and again I'm challenged by the size of the bed, but that is the trade off for the better interior and flexibility.
The interior of this Chevy is fabulous. I almost believe that Detroit might be finally figuring it out. I almost didn't consider a Chevy because of the awful interiors that have plagued them forever, but this truck has a fabulous interior.
The one thing about this truck that drives me nuts is the low front end. I have dragged the plastic front end against curbs so many times. Driving on the beach I have plowed into the sand on a good bump and that almost pulled the front end off the truck. It looks nice but that isn't all that functional.
One thing I will add but shouldn't surprise anyone, is that this truck gets poor gas mileage.I pay about $90 every time I fill it. Its a V8, it comes with the territory.
Overall, this truck is the real deal.

Pros: Size; seats 5 adults comfortably; nice shape, look Cons: Dents somewhat easily (we opted for the one without body molding)
I LOVE THIS TRUCK. I own the 2006 and it was about $45,000 with most of the bells and whistles. No DVD/TV, but just about everything else. There is not another vehicle on the market that I really want, having this. The interior is very comfortable and roomy, including the backseats that are equipped with more cup holders than seats, which my kids really were ecstatic about. It is fast, it is strong, and it is beautiful. What more could you want in a truck? My brother-in-law also owns one and says out of all the trucks he has owned, this is the one he will retire with.
