Pros: AWD stability under power, chassis composure, luxury feel Cons: More lux than sport, rear seat comfort, 3.5 not as good as hoped The Bottom Line: A passable effort at an entry-lux sedan. Just needs a bit more midrange power from the six and refinement in general.

Pros: Interior and exterior styling.
Power and refinement.
Driver and passenger amenities.
Ride and handling. Cons: Really reaching, a change to aluminum faced instrument gauges to match center stack trim? The Bottom Line: Put this car on your shopping list and give it look. I think you will love it!
We had waited for the change over in 2007 to the new 3.5 liter engine, and am now glad I did. The new engine does wonders for the power and refinement of this car. Driving dynamics are excellent. Our car is still in the "break-in" period, but the ...

Pros: Comfortable seating, engine, looks in and out, trunk size, quiet ride, finish. Cons: Trunk needs lift point and should close automatically. The Bottom Line: Buy it-good value-good looks-good quality-fun to drive.
I looked at and sometimes test drove 8 other cars before choosing the Mark Z. Prime reasons for choosing it were: 1-It was the only one with seats that did not leave my legs hanging off the front of the seat and it allows both the driver AND passenger ...

Pros: 10 way power passenger seat. Cons: Poor quality for price. Rides like a truck.
I have been searching for the best midsize luxury car in the mid $30K range. Based on the reviews, I thought I had found it in the MKZ until I looked at, and test drove one. The interior finish was horrid, they did not even bother cleaning the shavings off the edges of the plastic when the hole was cut for the glove box. The seats were hard and uncomfortable. I did not care for the way it drove, it rode like a cheap Mazda, the power was fine but all the reviews said it was a super quite ride, well let me say my Solara convertible is quieter and it rides much better. Guess I will keep looking.

Good luxury car, but could be better

Pros: Ride. Multi-function steering wheel. Comfortable ride. THX stereo. Power. Looks.
Warranty. Cons: Radio screen. Gas mileage. Trunk lid.
Telling people you bought a Lincoln is like saying you bought a Cadillac. It's in that traditional luxury class, and it is a nice luxury vehicle, but it has a few little things that keep it from being at the top of its field.
I was debating between another Maxima and the MKZ and picked this for a change of pace. It actually priced out a little less than the Maxima, plus it has a better warranty.
It's many features outweigh the little things that keep it from being a great car.
