Pros: Refinement, comfort, room, ride-handling balance, quietness Cons: Generic styling, lack of front passenger seat adjustments, some fit and finish issues The Bottom Line: Nearly matches the competition from Germany and Japan in many key areas, and costs much less. Definitely worth a look.

Pros: Excellent build quality. 5-star crash rating @ 35mph Cons: Tight for tall/girthy people. Under-aggresive steering. Brand Name complex The Bottom Line: GENESIS will shatter your perceptions of Hyundai. Even though the car is generically designed after more expensive luxury cars, its still a less expensive and solid product.

Pros: Great value; plenty of power; top-notch safety, warranty, and features; best-in-class premium-audio; good looks Cons: Debut year, aggressive automatic-transmission, ride unrefined on rough surfaces, many minor gripes, Hyundai brand stigma The Bottom Line: H-logos stripped off, nobody would know or believe this is a Hyundai. It's a powerful, RWD sedan with an unmatched technology package. What a great first lux effort by Hyundai!
