Pros: Powerful V6, more stylish interior, improved suspension, room, low price, long warranty Cons: Still not very sporty and a sixth gear might aid performance and economy. The Bottom Line: The new Hyundai Sonata SE provides a somewhat more sporting experience than before. And the interior is nicer. The car's largest advantage, though, continues to be its low price.
Since its redesign for the 2006 model year, the Hyundai Sonata has been a thoroughly competitive midsize sedan, complete with clean styling, a strong optional V6, roomy interior, and relatively low price. What it didn't offer: much in the way of style or ...

Pros: Comfy, roomy, quiet, with a surprising upclass feel for the price. Cons: Transmission is soft. 1st gear is tricky. Steering not crisp. Windshield bit squeaky over bumps. The Bottom Line: Good value - see review for full price details. Good family sedan. Upscale feel for the price. A few windshield squeaks that need to be resolved.
I recently decided to replace my 2004 1.8S Sentra with a new daily driver. I had been shopping Mazda3 and Honda Civics but wasn't sure that getting another vehicle of the same dimensions was in my best interest. With two young children (two ...

Pros: Fuel efficiency, price, smooth riding, great warranty Cons: None The Bottom Line: If you think you're sold on Camry or Accord, give the Sonata a try before buying...you'll change your mind.

Pros: Value, roomy cabin, safety features, decent gas mileage. Cons: Handling and braking, gauges, turn signal and headlight stalks. The Bottom Line: Better deal than Camry or Accord for a 4-cylinder.
I rented a Hyundai Sonata GLS for a week and did about 1,000 miles of driving. It was a 4-cylinder with the 5-speed automatic transmission. In light of the fact that this model could be purchased in the 18,000 range, it is a very impressive ...
