I paid good money for this phone because I have had good luck with Unidens in the past. This one failed as dismally as the "Cone of Silence". I kept using it because I paid such good money for it but everyone I spoke with on it complained they could not hardly hear me using a headset and it was even worse using the mouthpiece. When I use the base speaker phone, people complain about the sound also. I have replaced this phone with another one but I still keep it hooked up because the digital answering machine portion works great.
