Pros: Size lets you take it anywhere. Cons: cordless remote control
As I am now getting closer to 30 years old, I remember when the walkmans came out and everyone had to have one. My, how times (and technology) have changed. The newest thing today is the portable DVD player. Now this is not like the old portable...
Pros: Outstanding Quality and Superb Clarity In Imagery And Sound Cons: None
As an avid movie fan I enjoy watching searing hot action or sci-fi. However due to my current profession I'm always on the go. During my breaks I like to kick back and catch a little of my favorite movies. Sony has remedied this with the highly advanced...
Pros: Build quality, battery, Flawless screen Cons: No color adjustment, 8 hour charge time
Ok, I did a sh*t load of research before I bought the Sony dvd. First off, I had the old Panasonic DVD-L50 when it first came out and when I saw the bigger screens on the new generation portable dvd players I knew I had to upgrade. I also liked the...
Pros: Great design, good picture, well-constructed, integrated battery Cons: Brightness control
I canceled my order for the new Sharp portable DVD when I heard last year that Sony was about to release the DVP-FX1. I ordered it the day it showed up on Amazon.com, and have been very pleased with it.
Pros: Sound quality, design, durability Cons: Sony doesn't make it anymore. Only one headphone slot.
So I got this little DVD player from a pawn shop, with no adapter - had to get one from RadioShack. Works fine. Now onto the DVD player. When I first got it - I WAS HOOKED. I'd leave it plugged in playing DVD's just for the heck of it. Let's face ...
Pros: heavy duty construction, long battery life, over-all look and style! Cons: none
Everyone has their own opinion about portable players.
I had a Pioneer PDV-LC10 and I loved it. But it was so bulky when you used the battery, it added an extra 3 INCHES in height! It looked like I was watching a lunch box! Then Sony blessed us...
Pros: portable, vcd player too, crisp video Cons: expensive,
Now i am not saying this is a bad dvd portable player, but for the price you are basically paying the usual 20% tax for just havin the sony name on the player. This DVD player has all the outputs for the decoders and audio and video setup for your home...
Pros: small, cute, battery life, plays ALL DVDs, not just a particular region. Cons: attracts attention, cannot realistically be used everywhere.
I have owned this product for 3 years now. It is small, light, and lasts two movies. It fits well into my continential lifestyle (which is basically that I cannot keep to one for too long). It is easy to hook up to the television, and though it takes a...
Sony builds lots of cool products, yet few inspire more techno-lust than this portable. Housed in a ruggedly handsome magnesium alloy case, the DVP-FX1 opens to reveal a mini-cinema for traveling, camping, or just on-the-spot viewing wherever you...
I actually got one of these as a Christmas gift last year and thought it was the coolest thing that I had ever recieved. It was pretty cool but I really got tired of watching movies on this akward little screen. You can plug into a t.v. also but then...
Pros: SCREEN!!!, COLOR!! CLARITY!!! Cons: not great on its own speaker..
My brother actually bought this mainly since he is a student out of state living in dorms. He wanted a portable DVD player since he loves to travel. He wanted this since this Sony model was in his mind. In terms of quality, its brilliant. I love the screen, with beautiful color and great picture. This is a excellent portable with the Sony reliability. However I'm not a big fan of the sound...not to great or bold, but enough on its own. Never experienced the digital out with Dolby digital..no clue.
