I have had three DVD players in the last three years. This one is by far my favorite. My last DVD player was actually a Playstation 2. I recently sold my PS2 because it lacked VCD, MP3 and CDR capabilities. Not to mention the lack of quality games....

This is for the new Panasonic RV31 which just came out Feb-01. It's a great machine especially for the money. All the bells and whistles. You don't need DTS decoder etc... since your home theatre receiver will have one. Anyways, it already sound good...

I searched far and wide for a DVD player that was capable of shuffling a list of MP3's. There isn't one. So I can't hold that against this player. It does play mp3's... but only in the order they were burned.
