Great Card at a great price!

by vemartin Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 50, Aug 11 '00
Pros: Bright, vibrant, crisp display
Cons: None at this time...
When it became time to upgrade my old workstation I decided that I once again wanted a real graphic card in lieu of one built into the motherboard. My old workstation has a S3 AGP with 4Mb of memory. Even though most are AGP with at least 8Mb of Ram...

I've seen better, but not for the price

by technologyrep , Jul 13 '00
Pros: reliable, good support, price
Cons: not that powerful for 32 MEGS
First of all, this opinion has been completely re-written. I have deleted my previous opinion on this card because I have changed my opinion.

When I first got this card I was not impressed. None of my games ran that fast, and I assumed this...

Now were getting somewhere!

by crash28 , Dec 21 '00
Pros: 32 meg ram, AGP or PCI available, easy setup, and it works well.
Cons: A little twitchy with Unreal Tournament.
Yes, I do consider my self a gamer, and about 3 months ago I found myself needing a new 3D card. (My old 3DFX Voodoo 3 2000 16meg wasnt cutting the mustard.) I considered a few cards from manufactures like Matrox, Diamond, and Nvidia. All are excellent...

Great card, ATI needs to work on their drivers.

by Kisai , Aug 29 '00
Pros: Lower Cost, Plenty of Memory, Excellent DVD/MPEG-2 support
Cons: Drivers are old.
ATI Rage 128 is an affordable Video graphics card for your PC.

I purchased this product through an OEM, so my card did not come with the software bundle the retail board would have come with. But in my opinion if you bought the video card for...

An Excellent Video Card

by tkedog99 , Dec 23 '00
Pros: Great features for the price
Cons: Slight problems in Direct 3D with games
I recently bought a brand new AMD Athlon machine from jncs.com and they will custom build your machine. I got to choose everything that went into my machine. I chose this video card because it is excellent in both features and price. I also purchased...

Perfect card for gaming...

by ChrisPDX , Sep 05 '00
Pros: Inexpensive, easy to install, works beautifully
Cons: Only has standard monitor out.
The ATI Xpert 2000, kind of a "dated" name but this card has great features for a great price. I bought this card in June due to insurmountable problems with my Creative Labs Savage 32mb pci card. I looked around and tried to find the best card...

WOW - This Card is Great!

by jedmonson , Apr 13 '00
Pros: Great graphics, Great price, On-board DVD decoding
Cons: Not the fastest card out there
I bought this graphics card about a month ago not knowing how it will do, but I sure was surprised what it could do for $82! This graphics card has 32 megs of ram, on-board DVD decoding, max res. 1900x1200, and much more. I've seen other cards like the...
