Pros: Costs little. Cons: You get what you pay for--little performance, little service, little support.

Stay away

Pros: Used to have competitive prices. You have the freedom to choose another host. Cons: Unreliability, unable to quickly recover when serious problems arise.
Ever since they were sold to dot Canada service and reliability went downhill.
On my last month with this hosting company, my site was frequently down and they were unable to restore it b/c their backups were corrupted.
I had full backups of my two sites but they could not restore my FTP accounts so I could not re-upload the sites. This went on for about two weeks.
I've since left and could not be happier.

Affordable host, better name would be Horrible host

Ive been a customer of Affordable hosting for the last several years, really liked them and sent many people their way. Something happened in the last few months because the service and support horrible. Two times in the last two months their servers crashed and were down for over a week. Each time they crashed I was told their backs up files were corrupt and I would need to re-install my sites from scratch. I can understand this happening one time, but to have it happen again in less than 30 days is just unacceptable. When you submit a support ticket you get an impersonal canned response telling you that they are working to resolve the issues.
