Pros: Inexpensive, takes little room to set up Cons: Bad sound quality, unshielded sub, low power output
When it comes to computer speakers, everyone has different needs. Personally, I prefer a full 7
.1
surround system with good bass for gaming and movies. Others may simply want a good stereo set for listening to music. ...
Pros: Clean highs, deep and tight lows Cons: No mid-range, no EQ, no headphone/line output, short satellite cabling, annoying volume knob
I got these speakers for free when my father-in-law upgraded to a set of Altec's ATP 3's and gave me his old ACS 33's as hand-me-downs. What a deal! These speakers do not sound cheap at all, especially considering their online price of $45 and less....
In hindsight, I paid too much for these speakers that I got from Outpost.com for $41.66 because now they're on sale all over the place for around $20-30. Despite this, these speakers impressed me right away with their very strong sound. Their size is...
Pros: good sound. Cons: can not plug headphones on it.
The altec lansing ACS 33 give me a very good sound for mp3's, and games. You should listen to it, when the guitars begin exploding with wild melodies and the counterstrike machineguns fire on my opponents:) It is so much better than speakers without a...
Pros: Good Sound - Very Inexpensive Cons: Looks & Controls
I got these puppies from Best Buy for about $50. They're a great pair of speakers, nicely complimented with the subwoofer. I would rate these speakers very high on sound quality and price, but somewhat lower on design and controls. The midrange sound...
Pros: Stylish design and easy to hook up Cons: Poor sound, cheap quality, difficult controls
Although these speakers sell for under $50, I expected a little more quality. The subwoofer feels as though it has nothing inside of it. The single volume/power dial is awkwardly placed horizontally under one of the satellite speakers. It is actually...
Pros: Sound like some top end speakers at a much lower price. Cons: Just wish I had surround sound.
One of the few sets of speakers that sound good, yet still have a low price, are these pair of Altec Lansing speakers with subwoofer. The speakers offer a nice range of highs and take you to its strong point- the midrange sound. The subwoofer offers...
Pros: Inexpensive; great sounding bass with very decent mids-highs... Cons: Design could be a bit nicer, and the controls aren't very good...
At way less that $100 these speakers are a real steal. I purchased a pair about a week ago, and they sound just great. I had been using some really old Altec Lansing’s before these (my old ones were pretty crappy), and I thought I would see what they...
Pros: Okay for the price. Reliable. Solid. Cons: Sound quality could be better.
I think that this package makes a sound uneven: there are low thanks to the box, Treble graces the 2 small pregnant, but the medium seem frankly absent. The sound seems unfair ... it lacks the "middle" ... I said that I am not a music expert, and that I had previously 2 pregnant fairly good (not "noname"). Frankly I hesitate to keep ACS33, I believe that instead of using them on my PC, I will plug into my TV, I hope that with the HP TV sound will be a little more consistent.
