Pros: compact design, style, integrated battery, good treble reproduction, portability, subwoofer output, radio (no HD) Cons: not compatible with iPhone, iTouch 2ndG, whimpy bass if stand alone
This has been one of the iPod accessories we've been admiring in stores but never took home due to the $150 price tag. A recent special run by RadioShack brought this way down to $59 and finally all resistance broke and the iM600 is now part of our ...
I wanted to purchase speakers for my iPod Classic to use in our living room. My main requirements were price (under $150) and sound quality, and a clock-radio speaker was not an option. Research lead me to purchase the Altec Lansing InMotion ...
Pros: Clear and well balanced sound, takes up little space, looks sleek, optional rechargeable battery Cons: Not completely compatible with iPod Touch
My husband and I were in the market for a bookshelf system so we could listen to our iPods in our living room. We wanted one that was sleek looking, provided decent sound, could fit in the bookshelf (15" across), and was compatible with both the iPod ...
Pros: Great Sound quality, Satisfying lows (bass), Remote, ipod dock, FM, remote, aux input, stylish Cons: No carrying case
The Altec Lansing IM600 are truly one of the best portable speakers available. Your most important feature must be sound quality, which definitely doesn't disappoint. Altec lives up to its name, and the speakers have incredible trebles and mid's, as ...
Pros: nice design, sleek look, sound quality, remote, cheaper than others Cons: no carrying case, no clock
The Altec Lansing Docking Stationis a great device with many nice features! You can listen to an iPod, the radio, or even another source. You can plug in another radio or CD player and listen to that. Although I wish there was an ...
At first glance, it's just another portable music player. It was to me when I first got it at Best Buy, and I'm never disappointed there. Upon attempting to open the device, it proved a difficult task: there's a small button in the middle that releases ...
Pros: Long Battery Life, iPod Dock syncs to PC, Solid Construction, ultra portable, built-in antenna Cons: Poor bass (low frequency), horrible FM radio reception, limited iPod control from remote
The Altec Lansing IM600 is a great portable dock/speaker system for the iPod. First thing you'll notice is that it is compact and dock portion folds up nicely. The antenna is connected to the IM600 and telescopes outward. The remote can be stored in ...
Pros: Rich sound. Sleek package. Easy set-up. FM radio. Charges itself and iPod. Cons: Took me two tries to get one that worked.
Right out of the box, I had trouble with my first Inmotion 600. It worked only one time with my iPod Nano 2nd generation. Then, when I turned it off and wanted to turn it back on, it wouldn't "boot up." So, I unplugged it, removed the iPod, closed it ...
Looks nice and that's about all by websterphreaky ,Nov 30 '09
Pros: Sounds OK (rattles on bass notes), looks pretty and that's about it. Cons: Faulty components, Lousy FM reception, iPod Touch loose in dock adapter, TERRIBLE Customer Service
My unit arrived with a totally dead IR Remote control, the ONLY way to select and save FM station and control the iPod. I called over 4 weeks ago for a replacement, they sent a AC power supply instead. Called AGAIN 3 weeks ago to complain and Customer Service PROMISED to send the IR Remote immediately, NOTHING has arrived! I called a 3rd time today and now they tell me there are NONE in stock and no indication when they will have more to send! CS lied!
Warning! Don't buy ANYTHING by Altec Lansing! I never will again.
