Pros: Compact little music player Cons: Some controls
I am one of those people who purchased the iPod Nano to amuse myself during my commute to work. After riding the light rail system to work and back everyday, I was looking for something to make my 45 minute ride one way more enjoyable. I had ...
Pros: Sleek and Cool Cons: Easily stolen, already outdated
This review is written in memory of my son's iPod Nano Black. He got it for his birthday, but it was stolen a few months later. In it's memory, I'd like to say a few words. iPod Nano Black, we hardly knew you! Coolness factor I ...
Pros: A Compact, Cool, & Modern Technological Wonder Cons: That Frustrating Center Wheel/Button, iTunes Software
I remember in the 80's when Apple computers were the symbol of counter-culture coolness in the computer world. But after giving their creator and mastermind Steve Jobs the boot, they started to lose their way and nearly fell victim to the Microsoft ...
Pros: Small, attractive, reliable, utilizes flash memory, comes with iTunes and headphones. Cons: Not user friendly, poor instructions, lacks common features, overpriced.
After waiting and waiting for MP3 players to enter the realm of affordability I finally broke down and went shopping for one. The one I had researched and deemed to be the best value for my dollar wasn't available (of course) so I went with the safest ...
Pros: Easy and perfect for beginners. 1 GB will actually hold quite a bit of music. Cons: Not good if you have an extremely large library of music.
I received my ipod after my husband came home from Walmart stating that they had a 'bigger and better' ipod at Walmart for a very good price. He was comparing his current ipod (apple ipod nano, 1GB). I had not jumped on the IPOD bandwagon at this point ...
Pros: Great device with cool features like picture slideshows with music. Cons: None.
I got the black 1GB apple iPod Nano for a gift. I really like it because its really thin and easy to carry. Its easy to carry when I exercise. It carries about 500 songs. It's easy to locate the music on the iPod you can search for it on the menu options ...
Pros: Sleek, light-weight, hours of entertainment Cons: Not cheap, may be confusing at first
I absolutely love my ipod nano. It is something that I take with me everywhere I go: in the car, on a run, cleaning, studying, on the beach, anywhere. It is a luxury I am admittedly spoiled by, as are most of my peers. WHAT IS AN IPOD? For those ...
Pros: Size, simplicity, sound. Cons: Headphones, not able to copy over cassette collection.
I received the 1GB Nano as a Christmas present, and began to load CD after CD onto it. Once you get use to the interface of iTunes, it's rather easy and effortless to load your songs. I currently have 437 songs, plus about 4 podcasts, loaded consuming ...
Pros: Sound quality; size; storage capacity Cons: Easy to lose; cost; lack of detailed documentation in packaging
My husband mentioned last year he had wanted to get me an iPod for my birthday - but the one he was looking at was around $500. At the time, I was aghast that he would consider spending that much on my birthday present - also, an iPod was the absolute ...
Pros: Yuppies will talk at Starbucks about bands you've never heard of. Cons: Overpriced, Under-featured, and a general illogical design make for a over hyped mp3 player.
I have been in the mp3 market since it started, with the Diamond Rio 300 which had a whopping 32 mb of memory (expandable to 64mb with a then $200 Smart Media card) and 3 hours of battery with a AA. I have to give the ipod props for making other ...
Pros: Small, slick nice LCD screen, basically it's looks Cons: Looks, but no functionality
I got this as a gift, and the site says the battery life is... well more than mine has. I think they say like 30-40. My lasts about 5-7 hours. Let me repeat that, 5-7 HOURS. I mean 2 AA last twice that in my CD player. Then all of a sudden the screen ...
Good buy if you don't have a lot of music! by timothy86 ,Jul 21 '06
Pros: Small
Sturdy
Looks cool Cons: Not enough memory
Not compatible with all music subscriptions
This device is okay for holding small amounts of music. For some people that is okay.
Design is great, it is tiny and holds up well. It seems pretty hard to break. Try it out, you will like the size.
You may be better off though going with a non-apple product if you want to use Yahoo's music subscription or another carriers music subscription since it won't work with Apple.
Pros: Great Sound, affordable, nice interface Cons: scratches easily
What can I say, Apple really nailed this market. The nano series has to be Apple's best model yet. Granted the 1GB model is kinda small but it still has all the same features as the models with more RAM. If there are only a select few groups you like to listen, the 1GB model will do fine. You can always add and remove songs as needed.
The sound quality is great and the headset is comfortable. The nano is capable of deep base sounds as well high treble. You can always tune as desired through the intuitive interface. The user interface really sells this product i think. Its easy to understand and use.
The great thing about the nano is its size. It's small and slim and will fit just about anywhere. It's great for exercising; there are plenty of armbands and different type carriers to choose from and it doesn't weigh a lot.
Pros: Good for travel Cons: Small storage, not for the power user.
The 1 gig Ipod nano is not a bad device. The sound is goos and you can store about 270 songs on it. It is good for a long flight, or a vacation. If you are looking to put an entire cd collection on it though you would be better off buying a 30-60 gig ipod. The sound is not bad, I have my own Bose headphones so that helps alot.
I did return mine for the 30 gig Ipod though. Not that this is a bad Ipod but I like to take my entire music collection with me when I travel. I know for most people 270 songs at one time is more that enough though. So if you dont mind micro managing (Taking songs on and off as needed) your songs then this is the way to go.
For me I am lazy and just want to take it all with me.
Pros: this ipod is good for people who want a cheap small ipod. Cons: the only thing not too good about this ipod is it isnt big on space
this Ipod is very good for on the go because it is not bulky and big like the original Ipod.I would reccomend this Ipod for people who dont want big mp3 players that are expensive.
